Some of you must be wondering about the built-in Administrator account in Windows XP and that why it is only visible and accessible in the Safe Mode and not through the normal mode? Well, even I wonder why Microsoft has kept this so called Administrator hidden from all!
But now, you can get this built-in Administrator account of XP on your welcome screen in the normal mode just by doing some registry changes. Yes!!
Follow these steps to change the registry settings,
1. Launch Registry Editor by typing regegit in the Run window.
2. Find this registry key in the Registry Editor,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserLis t
3. Double-click the Administrator key in the right pane.
4. If the Administrator key doesn’t exist, right-click on the above tree in the pane, choose New, DWORD Value, name it Administrator and press ENTER.
5. In the Value data box type 1, and press ENTER.
Thats it. Now you can access Administrator account through your normal mode
