First Method.
Try typing in the IP of the website in the adress bar.
Example: Try typing 69.147.114.210 in the adressbar will get you to:
www.yahoo.com
How do you figure out the IP you ask?
Go to : Start>Run>CMD ( Hit enter)
A black window should pop up, now type in "Ping www.awebsitename.com"
Like here :
http://www.shareapic.net/content.php...owner=lostfate
Now that should open up the website.
Second Method:
Try using Proxies.
Go it
www.proxy.org
and take down names of websites that you think might work.
From time to time, your proxies that you use will get blocked and eventually you will have to keep finding more, but don't worry, the internet is filled with proxies.
If you know HTML, then open Proxy.org's code in notepad and edit it to remove all the ad's and junk. Keeping the list, take it to school in a flash drive or host it to somewhere and download it. ( This is what i did )
Third Method:
Try downloading other browser's and see if that get's rid of the filters.
School network's use the fileter's internet settings to connect to the internet. If your school allows Firefox or Opera, try downloading and see if they work.
Fourth: ( Hardest one, Haven't tested it, but heard it works)
This is hard becasuse the installtion of this program is really confusing. If you can get it to work, then great job!
http://www.torproject.org/
Is the software I am talking about, see if you can download it.
I'll keep updating this as I find new ways!
Good luck!
5th Method!
add as in
http://www.website.com
for example: instead of going to
http://www.yahoo.com
try
Code:
Because the filter shouldn't block safe websites.
6th Method! (90% Should work!)
Visit
www.logmein.com
Create a account, download their software to your computer, and add your computer to your account so you can access it remotly from school.
